Heated Pool Clause

The property features a heated outdoor swimming pool.
The heating system is activated during the period from November 15 to April 30.
The water temperature is maintained between 27°C and 30°C, depending on external weather conditions.

In the event of exceptional weather conditions (very low outside temperatures, strong winds, temporary failure of the heating system), the owner cannot be held responsible for a temperature below the specified range, provided that all the usual precautions have been taken to ensure the system operates correctly.

Air Conditioning Clause

The property is equipped with an air conditioning system available for the tenant’s comfort during the stay. The tenant agrees to use it responsibly, including keeping doors and windows closed while the system is in use and turning it off when leaving the premises.
Any excessive or inappropriate use (e.g., continuous use with open windows, setting the temperature unusually low) may result in a deduction from the security deposit in the event of significant overconsumption or damage to the system.

In the event of a breakdown not caused by the tenant, the owner agrees to take action as quickly as possible. No compensation will be provided unless the system is unusable for more than 48 hours during periods of high temperatures.

Wi-Fi Clause

The property includes free Wi-Fi Internet access for the tenant’s comfort. This connection is intended for reasonable and lawful use only. The tenant agrees not to use the network for any illegal activities (such as illegal downloads or prohibited content).

The owner cannot be held liable for any network malfunction or interruption beyond their control (e.g., service provider issues or maintenance). No compensation will be granted in the event of a temporary outage.

- The Tenant undertakes to pay a deposit equal to 30% of the amount of the rent at the time of booking.
- The reservation will be confirmed only after receipt of the deposit by the Agency.
- The balance will be settled 60 days prior to arrival (special conditions for the festive period).
- For bookings made less than 60 days before the date of arrival, the Tenant must pay the total cost of the rental at the time of booking.
- No reservation will be considered confirmed before receipt of the deposit by the Agency and the signature of the rental contract.
- Note : The Tenant undertakes to pay a deposit of an amount equal to 50% of the amount of the rent at the time of booking.

Cancellation policies:

- In case of cancellation more than 90 days before the date of arrival, no penalty will be applied to the tenant who will be reimbursed the full of his deposit, less the expenses of reimbursement.
- In case of cancellation between 90 days and 60 days before the date of arrival, the Agency will keep the deposit of 30%.
- In case of cancellation less than 59 days before the date of arrival, the Agency will keep the entire amount of the rental.

What does the price include?

All our properties for rent propose a wide range of amenities, however it varies according to the type of villa. Please check the precise list of amenities in each property to know exactly what the villa you’ve chosen includes. For example, it may be a villa with a heated pool, a jacuzzi, a gazebo, a fitness room, a tropical garden, a professional kitchen, king size beds, an air-conditioned lounge… Prices may be different regarding all these types of services.

What is the booking process?

First you have to choose the villa you wish to stay in on www.myvillainstbarth.com.
After you’ve chosen your villa, please contact our booking service who’ll manage your request.
You can get in touch with us through the website, once you’ve selected your dates and you’ve clicked on the “Book” button.

First you’ll have to sign the contract, then pay a deposit (30% of the amount, and 50% for the festive period) to secure your reservation. As soon as the deposit is paid, your booking is confirmed.
The balance is due 60 days (90 days for the festive period) prior to arrival.

A reminder notice will be sent seven days prior to the deadline for the final payment. Payments can be made via credit card, wire transfer.

Please be aware that villas enforce strict cancellation policies. It is strongly advised to purchase trip insurance upon booking to safeguard your interests.

How many people can stay in a villa booked ?

Villas typically limit occupancy to double occupancy per bedroom, allowing only 2 guests per bedroom. While it may be feasible to include one additional guest beyond the listed maximum occupancy, approval from the owner is an obligation. Additional guests may incur charges for an extra rollaway bed and/or surcharge. Each property has its own set of regulations and requirements.
Please be aware that infants and children are counted as guests and should be included in the total party size. It is important not to assume that children are exempt from the guest count when making reservations.

What is the minimum stay in a villa ?

Usually, villas require guests to stay for a minimum of 5 to 7 nights. This is due to the extensive time, costs and resources needed to prepare the property for the next guest, a process that differs significantly from hotels. Consequently, villas necessitate longer stays compared to hotels.
During the Christmas and holiday seasons, villas may enforce a minimum stay requirement of up to 14 nights.
Occasionally, properties may consider waiving the minimum night stay requirement if your travel dates are within 45 days or fit into an availability gap.

Can I wash my clothes at the villa ?

Each of our villas is equipped with a washing machine, and the majority also feature a dryer. However, these appliances are primarily designated for use by the housekeeper for household laundry tasks, with a few exceptions. Notably, villas in St. Barts typically do not provide accessible washers or dryers.
Access to these appliances is generally restricted due to liability concerns and insurance policies. Misuse of the washing machine and dryer can result in flooding and other liabilities, hence the restriction is in place for the mutual benefit of our guests and villa owners.
Recognizing the importance of having laundry facilities available during your vacation to lessen packing burdens, the housekeepers are typically willing to assist with your laundry needs for a nominal additional fee, which can be arranged during your stay at the villa. We also recommend reaching out to your concierge to inquire about the possibility of accessing these facilities.
